The former assistant director of admissions...
Cons
Super micro-managing mentality starts at top.
Too many members of University Administration are out of touch with real world at campus levels.
Bait & switch mentality towards students. Mot enough on-campus classes, so you're paying top dollar to teach yourself.
Everything online except COHORT classes.
Looking constantly for reasons to get rid of people, even high-quality people. Salaries not really competitive (I learned once I left). Directors are not there for their teams but for themselves.
All the quality leaders have been let go for being too student focused. Drama at all the campuses I ever spoke with and/or visited.
Fresh ideas and energy squashed every time.
