I don't know how this will affect the regular employees, but Intel's immediate future is looking all kinds of good right now.

Restructuring IFS to fit the TSMC operating model would result in something upwards of 50% headcount reduction.

TD would easily be a 50% RIF and ProdCo would be 20% to 30%.

But the stock would pop as much as those same percentages on a deal announcement, so yes, it is a golden time to be INTC.

Promote more politicians? The main reason that Intel failed is the lack of technical know-how in management layers and nearly all upper layers. Each re-org or change promoted more id--ts.
