Thread regarding Rockwell Automation Inc. layoffs

Blake and Becky only have one play

They will lay you off to make quarterly eps. Blake is weak. He is not competent in automation space. He is a sales wonk. Tessa is too. Bobby B. Aka Ed Grimley too. Matt is a gpt wa-ker. Doesn’t leave much. Becky is poised to take over. She will anoint Jane chief of incompetence and fire all over 45

I also was an old employee. Luigi taught me a lot. I’ll start with Arvind. He is smart and hates old white folks.

Blake turned red and touched me inappropriately. And Becky loved it.

I was a longtime RA employee. High level. Did a lot of acquisitions and are businesses. Blake is a fraud. He fired all the good leaders. Tessa, Matt, Bobby B, Victoria, Arvind,.....I'm already exhausted by the incompetence. Arvind is sitting on +$1.5m options and has delivered a donut.....Nuff said. We should judge Blakey-p-o by what he could have delivered, not what he delivered. Wrong CEO pick. Next one will su-k too. Tessa? Jane? really?????? And Becky??? Wholly sh-t-she blows chunks six ways to Sunday!!! Rockwell Board??? I can't wait to sue you for incompetence

I was laid off last year. They kindly provided a list of people laid off. Most were 50+.

i was directly involved in a CEO-to-CEO level support issue several years ago a RA and I saved the day after putting in literally 90 hours per week for 3 weeks straight. My reward? An atta-boy and getting laid off a few years later. But in between that we had a nice three day DEI training session that everyone complained about.

RA has completely lost its way.

The one play left is complete betrayal of anyone left standing... if you are new or early career, judge them by their actions, not by their words... don't think for a moment the company in its current state really cares about you. there was a unique culture for a long time but times got tough and the 'leadership' showed their true colors - no innovation, commitment to progress, or internal investment. All that's left is a short term money grab for a few at the expense of customers, partners, and employees.

Blake is a cancer, Jeff Immelt 2.0. Making the trip to Davos is a great demonstration of his character, focusing on what's important, feeding that childish ego. The private jet setting and the corporate sustainability report are clearly aligned... Groomed and empowered to be the smartest guy in the room. A man of the people in public, but a selective micro manager behind closed doors who gets triggered by a misworded powerpoint and spirals into rage. Perhaps better described as a corporate version of the mad king.

Speaking of quality nightmares... MagneMover Lite was originally produced in Devens, MA, where the most skilled workers were building the product. However, Blake made the decision to shut down production at that facility and move manufacturing to Monterrey, Mexico. Now, with new tariffs looming, Blake is relocating MagneMover Lite assembly to Ohio. Blake’s decisions have been disastrous. Blake has ruined this one great company to work for. I am glad I am retiring from this sh@t hole in a few months. Good luck to all those who are stuck under this horrible leadership currently at Rockwell. Stanton Allen and Lynde Bradley would be so disappointed with Blake and his current cronies.

When it comes to product quality, what do you expect from a company that eliminated half the quality department and the ones remaining are starting to quit, because of the toxic work environment fostered by the bozo quality director, further weakening the quality group? The worker bees know there are issues, but management chooses to ignore the warnings and release half-baked products anyway just to get sales. Management looks at the half-baked product as, it's only a problem if the customer figures it out. Guess what?, the customers are finding ALL the problems. Corporate greed and pleasing the shareholders is more important than customer satisfaction at Rockwell.

Apparently Jim Farley at Ford called up Blake directly about a line down issue at a F-150 plant. The cause? Our amazing 755T drives. The firmware in that drive is a fckin mess. Of course both Blake and Jim are two bozos in a pod (have you seen Ford’s performance lately?) anyway putting out the fire around our sht product was fun

Bobby B's comedy hour happened today. The guy is a joke, he thinks every problem can be solved with a Coke and smile. He is so disconnected from reality it's not funny anymore. Now he wants everyone to incorporate A.I. into their job. He must be taking his own advice and had A.I. write his new catch-phrase, "Working for Rockwell is the best decision you'll ever make". I $hit you not, he said it multiple times and some of his puppets even said it. Positivity has its place, but all I hear is 'the beatings will continue until morale improves'.

Hey Blake - lets follow southwest lead. Whack senior executives. We dont need them. RA can purge 11 senior execs and not miss a beat!!!

‘Southwest Airlines said Monday it will cut 15% of its corporate workforce, or 1,750 people — the first mass layoffs in the company’s history.

The cuts will start in April and include senior leadership, the company announced. Eleven senior leadership positions, which include vice presidents and above, will be eliminated.’

Blake's exit seems to be nothing but speculation only from posters on this particular site. Ofc he's not going anywhere. Nosbusch was in his 70s and Blake's clearly a company man.

Rockwell would be in a much better position if senior executives stopped receiving stock bonuses for the next five or more years. Why can't they also take a pay cut until the company's sales numbers improve? It's hard to understand why Blake earns $16 million a year yet pays the same amount for health insurance as the rest of us. Rockwell should immediately increase the health insurance contributions for the top 20% of earners. The next CEO cannot come from Blake's inner circle; it needs to be someone familiar with the company's hardware side and who isn’t a sellout on the people who made this company. Blake and Becky need to leave this company asap. And not get the golden parachute package for them either. F-them.....

I think you are right, seeing most of the people who layoff or fire has been over 50s folks.

RA seems to be in a “soul searching mode”
“A goose in the fog”, reminds me of my GE days. RA definitely needs a new fresh perspective. NA workforce will be the target of any and all cost reduction efforts. If you are over 50+ you are the target! (High salary high benefits payments). AI and aggressive outsourcing efforts taking place in the background will result in huge cuts over time for NA workforce!

I am so glad to have retired last year!
