Many of you may have noticed or heard about performance evaluations being 2s. You may be thinking things like “wow I’ve never seen this many 2s before”. This is feedback we’ve already received. This is intentional. This will be used as a termination. And upon termination of your employment (to be determined) will be cited as performance. This allows it so they can continue processing green cards for the H1B employees. This allows them to dodge any problems with USCIS. Take care.

Since they have done away with 1-1's you'll never know what your ranking is month to month or when you are messing up unless you have a sup that cares enough to tell you. It's a complete sh-t show anymore with this company.
You do not have to be on a CAP to get a 2. But if you get a 2, you will be put on a CAP as a next step.
If you are blindsided by a 2 rating, either your manager hasn’t done their job in addressing issues before common review, or else you were “bell curved” and basically filling a quota of 2’s. I was told upper mgmt even looks at people who have gotten several 3’s in a row and targets them for 2’s. So not everyone can be a 4-5, but doing your job adequately year after year is not good enough… got it.
We were told no one gets a 2 unless they’re on a CAP. Is this not true?
Document, document, document! Once you go through the process, you will find out how little time your subvisor spent doing work, and how much time your subvisor spent documenting and twisting every single interaction with you. So they can let you go without a dime. And they wonder why folks are pi---d
Please remember if you get 2 to email your supervisor/ manager/ dept manager and ask for clarification on how the performance is bad Especially If they have never told you on your 1:1 to improve. Something like “ I’d like to discuss the rating due to never being informed of any known issues throughout the year when we have our 1:1 is this a new development or if we have spoken about it in the past can you provide me the old emails please”
