Has anyone utilized this after layoff? What is your opinion, please?

USE ALL THE RESOURCES. LHH works if you spend the time to work it. Get all of the help to reinvent your self.
Completely useless.
Ditto on the resume services and the free LinkedIn learning. They're useful. Not miraculous, but worth utilizing.
If you need it or like it there is a lot of group or advocacy support.
They don't have a magic formula for getting you a job.
Some of their fundamental tools and approaches are out of date; they do a lot of training on and push using linkedin to find the hiring manager and get contact info. That outreach is 99.9% a waste of time today. The HM's and recruiters are buried under messages from candidates and you'll probably never get a response because everyone else is doing it too.
Re: Landmark - it was on page 2 of the 6 page document that was emailed to your personal email. It was listed under “other important info” - 6th bullet down for me. I’m from Optum directly, not an acquired company. I thought everyone would be eligible for this service.
Had used them in the past for other corporate layoffs. Job hunting is way different than it was over a decade ago so who knows. It appeared to me the assigned coaches have little insight how to find and land jobs. Mine was a family counselor that had nary a clue. Went once and felt waste of time then they would not stop bothering me for future sessions since they dont get paid for sessions allowed unless you actually meet. Your mileage may vary. Its a great way to meet other unemployed people though but that is not helpful in landing a new job.
What positions was this service offferd for after a layoff. My coworkers with Landmark were not offered this service.
Did anyone meet with their assigned coach? Curious if that was helpful for anyone.
From experience 2 times, just use it and take whatever you can from them to help you with your resume and the semi regular group check ins can help your morale. Makes you feel like you are not alone. I don’t think they helped me land any of my jobs though
I found it useful, used it for free resume update service and job hunting tips along with LinkedIn learning
