Thread regarding CVS layoffs

It's Not Over

Buckle up buttercup.. "positive" earnings call means little by way of security from additional layoffs.. too many holes in too many departments will lead to more struggles that will only become apparent as we move through the year.. expect no less than 2000+ more cuts come August into October.. this will become par for the course.. bide youe time, but don't stop working to GTFO..

Who is asking to show work? There are job postings where the required skills are V lookups in Excel.
Granted there are people who are collecting a paycheck who do nothing sometimes it's who you know.

Lol. Anytime you are asked to "showcase" your work, how about just write a one line email that says, "I am still here despite doing the work of three people."

Agreed. Don't let the positive earnings and the stock price move lull you into thinking things are ok. It's still a massive dumpster fire in Arena HCB and Health Care Services. The activist investor is still in place with BoD members. Consultants are evaluating roles and responsibilities for middle management. They should take a look at VPs that do so very little.

Another reorg? Where?
Reorg always means layoffs. Usually with 6 months.

Reorg in my area happening next week. We were told “no layoffs” just yet, although it was implied that we’ll really need to showcase our work to the new leadership. Meanwhile, the useless, lying bozos are getting promoted as a result of this reshuffling. At the end of the day, it’s just more of the same nonsense.
