Every time they email on this subject it comes before layoffs. It’s literally an attrition countdown clock.
Every.Effen.Time.
No action is being taken on people not going in still. All words with no actions
What if we compensate for next week's two office days by coming in for four days this week?"
"Has anyone heard anything about the clock-in/clock-out system or about who missed coming to the office?
Is the tracking for remote workers too?
FWIW tracking has already started
TransUnion brass literally hates its own employees. Thats the only takeaway from that email.
When are the next layoffs rumored to happen?
Who said it’s fully remote in GCC? I’ve my team in India going to office 3 days a week.
What do you think the reason is for this enforcement? Half the company is in the gcc and fully remote so it cant be culture? This is to get people to leave before layoffs!
Don’t know what’s gonna happen later and also we can’t predict the upper level management. Also, only if you’ve accurate news, post it else kindly don’t scare people here.
Soft layoffs, meaning they are hoping people leave with the RTO. Then actual layoffs will be after. Same as previous rounds
To the person who said soft layoffs coming soon. Are there going to be layoffs in June? Cuz, I heard some rumors there’ll be layoffs in June.
Common sense - they will start collecting from the next week or March 1st.
Buckle up.
Soft layoff, new round coming soon!
Nothing - if they crack down that much, then they should just hire security for each employee
what will be reported if someone swipes the badge and connects to office wifi in the morning and later goes back to WFH for rest of the day?
It’s a 50 mile radius
It was bound to happen.
even the iovation guys tell us to never rely on IP addresses because they are imprecise and inaccurate most of the time.
What is HR considering a “reasonable distance” for commuting? Anyone know?
@ @15c+1jm2mgqrp That’s exactly how companies win and continue to treat employees like cr-p because people just bow down to everything
Does anyone have insight into what exactly HR considers a “reasonable distance”? Can’t get an answer on that
Anyone here with data tracking experience for compliance ?
How closely can it be monitored across so many people ?
Check email, required privacy notice details how they’re collecting
How about buying vpn router and connecting from base location and likewise travel to office every 2 days a week? Will they find out that as well? I’ve my year old baby to take care and this email is worrying me.
Ha - and you doubted me!?! Check your inbox.
It's quite simple: Go into the office 2 days a week and there will not be any second guessing what will happen! I think we're lucky to have a 2-day requirement compared to other companies 3+. The more you question it or try to "test" the system, the more likely you'll make it worse for those of us doing the right thing.
clearly they want to let go of more people in 2025. why else would they do this? there’s hardly any core people left to go into the offices anymore. this is vile.
Anyone know what they’re doing if people don’t go in still? I heard rumours they’ll deduct your % of bonus but not seen any confirmation of that yet and manager has no clue still
When will this be implemented? It says sooner.
They want to see who is fu--ing who in the printer room
Why is this being pushed again?
Thought it had been the case for 1-2 years now
The linked document describes a dashboard CM1s will have access to. I assume they are logging badge activity and rolling that into a view that allows drilling down to associate levels.
I don’t think there’s impact to remote employees per the doc. You’re just sc--wed if you ever want to apply for another role. Those are unlikely to be remote and you won’t be a candidate.
How is it different this time?
It says hybrid workers and data will be collected … curious what data and how it would be different .
Any thoughts on impacts to remote workers?
He mentioned it but no words of monitoring or enforcing so it sounded like just the same as it has been for years ..
Chris noted this on the town hall this a.m. and it sounds like there will be a communication later today.
@OP+1jm2mgqrp i was willing to RTO and I was the first to make a reservation to work. I was laid off. Maybe should of got laid off since you bi--h about RTO.
Maybe not all of the UK then. I’m from the UK and no such message has been sent. Load of nonsense
Confirmed for UK staff last week.
