Cargill imposed secrecy clause

We just got an email from Netherlands work council. Consultation process extended for Netherlands. Cargill imposed secrecy clause for not sharing any information.

To the person suggesting Cargill will invest in Automation - you couldn’t be farther from the truth. Cargill, as it stands, is not equipped nor positioned to be an innovative company when it comes to automated processes.

If Americans want out then it’s fine, market will be taken over by European companies of whom i know many, the market regulates itself, employees are part of the success of any company, if a company over stretches it self because of poor governance, it is their fault and not that of the employees. I fully support the unions, the only wall between employees and the greed of the companies and the safeguards of modern European societies. I don’t want Elons ruling the European continent after all the struggles to get the little rights we have.

Is protecting employee interests arrogance?

People are sharing because potential employees should know about what is going on with this company. Cargill had a very good reputation but it started to destroy it by bad internal choices. I am from the EU and I can get why the Americans are angry and done with the region if you just see what is happening right now in the so arrogant Germanys and Dutch works council. I bet future investments will go elsewhere. Most probably Cargill will invest into automation to get rid of blue collar people. Lots of white collar jobs will go to other countries in the next months. Am I frustrated , yes I am and I also started to look for something else outside because I not happy with the overall situation. My new manager is t the right guy for the job but he has this typical “yes-sayer” attitude which is wanted from the management. Back to the point, I think it is important to share some insights and have a forum for impacted and badly treated people.

My boss is only about his image and career. They are all covering up for each other and hope the councils manage to influence this dreadful position in the dreadful company

And then they will show crocodile tears and claim that due to local law we can’t share more information.
