Does anyone have any information about time in office requirements for March 3rd and beyond. Heard all the various rumors. Our teams are planning to comply with RTO, but the common question is around what constitutes a day in the office?

Been in 5 days, 8 hours per day, since 2023, for most of us already. And that's whats still the deal, according to current NC managers, for everyone else who's coming in from hybrid.
My boss told us go back to pre-covid ways of working. 5 days in office. If there's inclement weather or some reason you can't, inform your team you're wfh. If you need to go home partway through the day for some reason, just do it.
He said no official policy has been pushed down outside of the initial MD email.
Just for clarity sake, I hate this as well. But I think people are reading into this way more than they need to. It's just going back to 2019 way of working.
Now if you were remote before and now got the sh-t end of the stick that is an exception to this.
All day. No more leaving at lunch.
We had a meeting this week where mgr said 8 hours. “If we are late, that time will be added to the end of our shift”
"It's not 8 hours per, that is false. Badge ins are the only thing monitored, thousands of staff have to attend late calls and will do from home after being in the office for a few hours earlier"
5 days a week equals to no calls early morning or late evening. Period.

They aren't stupid and making people stay from 8-5 would be a very stupid thing to do
@bf+1jm11wfxy - why are they on your personal phone anyway?
If a company is too cheap to provide a dedicated work phone, you shouldn't be doing work on your personal devices. Companies made the decision to stop issuing work phones because they're cheap. Stop letting companies trample over you. Set boundaries.
Dell pays for cell phones for some employees. Everyone else should keep their personal devices personal. The fact that you trust Dell's IT and MDM policies on your personal device blows me away
Well, if it's 5 days 8h per day, there's absolutely no f$$ng way I gonna take my laptop home. Teams / work email apps are to be deleted from my personal phone right now.
8h minimum, tracked by badge in and wifi/ethernet access. If you’re not connected to campus, you’ll have issues
Badge outs are not monitored as it's easy to walk out of the building and not swipe
They are only monitoring badge ins , as long as you swipe during the day then you are covered
Silly layoff here
My manager said that he was told we needed to be in the office at least 6 hours/day. Other managers within the same chain have told their people half days are fine. So, I don't think there is a standard. It depends on your management (unless they actually publish a policy at some point stating otherwise).
It'd be nice if the posted the policy and clarified these questions, eh? One all hands this week said they are flexible. Basically, don't coffee swipe, but they are cool with people putting an honest amount of time at the office knowing that a portion of the day will be spent working from home. Maybe other orgs are going to be na-is about it...
just go in and do your time. You know the answer. You people are sickening...you're like children needing chaperones.
5x8. 40 hrs. 7-330, 8-430, 830-5, 9-530.
Fire up the Tom Tom, get some petrol, go buy some non sweat pants, pack a lunch pale. See you in the office, bloke.
In Fed, we are required to be on-site 5 days a week for 8 hours.
