A Kroger HR rep told me that Kroger now has a 100% rejection policy on requests for RTO exemptions after April 1, 2025. It would be nice if these ever-changing remote work policies were documented somewhere. Instead we get announcements via Teams calls on short notice. That way they can claim we misunderstood when they keep moving the goalposts on us.

Kroger needs to grow up and just layoff everyone they want to instead of laying off in small batches to avoid Bad PR from a huge layoff. They think they can control the narrative better this way.
