Saw something that somebody was let go on Fri. Was there a rif, were others let go?

Yes around 20 people in the US were RIFd last Friday.
I've only heard of 2 so far, though I'm guessing there were probably more.

Those not going to the new co. were cut Friday, and there are some.

Seems an unlikely time to let anyone go. Unless the new masters took an instant dislike to someone.
