I strongly feel something bad will happen very soon at SAS. Anyone has information about it?

worked on the pip system for sas a couple years back, there are waves and increasing monitoring when layoffs do happen due to business concerns and etc even salaried people are subjected to micromanaged badge in and out as well, you’ll have 30 or 60 days to improve or else it’s layoff time if it’s behavior you get no severance if it’s performance they will give you severance 2 months a plus 2 weeks for every year served be careful out there i hear from people still there SAS management is at an all time bad, the finger pointing, blame game, and backstabbing amongst teams are making everyone paranoid and they’re even delaying bonuses/raises this year bc of HQ concerns
performance improvement plan
sketchy legal documentation to cover the businesses's legal butt
so they can lay you off maybe without severance
What is this PIP? I left Samsung 2006.
That’s a HR troll telling wrong information to confuse people. I don’t believe anyone in SAS received performance alert yet. If there is any, should be given out during annual review, which is March. Last year the performance alert was given during semiannual review, then PIP one month after.
Watch out, bros, no one is safe. A HR person is here try to mislead people if no performance alert received yet they can consider themselves safe. But then they catch you without preparing on March.
By doing this, the HR troll does revealed THERE WILL be PIP on April soon, 30 days after performance alert during annual review. Be prepared everyone, no one is safe. This is a toxic company. HR and managers team up together to play employees!
There was a pip last August. Do they do PIP every half year now?
Agreed — and I’m on a 30-day performance alert (step before pip). Pip should come by end of month or beginning of march.
