Have been being told there will be another dress code change, but still NO details! Just sp-t it out already!!!
Since the building is 50+ years old and they don't turn on the air until 9am, if it's miserable outside, I'm wearing shorts until the store opens. I work in Fulfillment and there's no air in the Fulfillment room.I've said I was gonna do it before but TY...I just might. Fortunately the store manager let's folks on the dock wear shorts on truck day. Should let them all summer since they barely see the light of the store.
Yes, please tell us what’s appropriate to wear when it’s 90 degrees outside and the a/c doesn’t work?? and you are running around sweating?? How about the poor people that come in before the store opens to no A/C? They are the ones that the most physical activities like the Visual captain and Back of house.
I've heard at my store that they're not changing the dress code, they're just reinforcing it and being firmer with it.
So jeans and a nice blouse or blazer will be OK, but they'll actually say something or send you home if you come in a hoodie.
Time will tell I guess.

I'm on the call now a day nothing abt dress code yet.
We are on the video call now, no mention of anything yet. Lots of nonsense so far.
Of course NGF stores are part of the new culture. It’s possible to be taken off a ‘list’ of closures if your store is performing well.
Those Macy's stores that are "non - go - forward" stores are they going to have a dress code? Those stores will be closing within a year or two.
Khakis and polos for everyone, or just back of the house. What about sales support?

Polo shirt and khaki pants that's the word in our store. We are going to find out tomorrow if it's true.

If a new dress code is happening, when does it officially start? Cause certain small stores there people who are on the sales floor and do warehouse/ fulfillment .
My store has no heard anything yet about new dress code unless they are announcing it tomorrow with the Tony Spring meeting
