Does anyone have an idea what this meeting is about? It includes corporate and retail workers.

This 4hour meeting couldve been a friggin EMAIL. We have too much to do than spend 4hrs listing to yet ANOTHER circlej--kThis video is only needed for Executives outside the stores. Street level associates...we've BEEN doing this.
This weird self serving, wasteful Ted Talk has nothing to do with what our CUSTOMER wants.
And the rest of the go forward stores are left behind in the dust. We get the scraps and have to make do. My store is supposed to be excited about this?
It’s going to be all of these. It’s what ESG thinks is culture defining moment for a reason. We are going to see all of these phrases tomorrow with the new culture being one of genuine hospitality. We will be stripping away all of our old slogans and phrases and rolling out new ones. Our focus will be on collaboration and being genuine.
At the end of the day, I’m sure it’ll mean more to colleagues in different parts of the business. Most of us are likely doing these things anyway, there will just be more focus and discussion on it now.
Why is everyone saying something different ? What is it?

Just Macys doing what they do every year. Redefining their initiatives and throwing anything against the wall that they think will stick. They continue to posture themselves as a new company instead of curating better assortments at affordable costs. We can’t even get our merchandise out on time bc they continue to strip the stores of colleagues and the colleagues left behind are stretched so thin. There is 0 customer service but yeah, forcing people to come back to office 3 days instead of 2, is really going to turn the business around.
