That's really too bad. I worked with some of those folks. They were much more knowledgeable than the people in the same job who sat in Bentonville.

Getting rid of all the regional people. District market managers are next. They could cut half of them and they wouldn’t be missed. Covid proved that.

Hoboken was the bastion of the old Jet.com e-commerce company which Walmart bought just about 10 years ago and closed about 5 years ago. Very few corporate types relocated to Bentonville, no surprise there. I’m sure it’s been a constant topic of conversation as to when the Hoboken office would be closed since there’s really nothing critical happening there which can’t be absorbed into the home office nebula.

Have they closed Hoboken office completely or only few positions eliminated ? Heard Hoboken isn’t closing but only few positions eliminated
