Re: The ELT not having to work.
I bet the Saucy CFO needs to continue working for quite a while.

We cannot reminisce on good old days. Always remember survival of the fittest . Global Market conditions have changed significantly. I support ELIOTT ‘s detailed 25 page presentation as an employee and as a share holder. ELT members have to be fired , anyways they will not loose much with their hefty packages. It’s about time that we make the changes though it will be painful and no one enjoys change if we need to survive in upcoming years.

Get what? I don't hold hardly any psx except what I get in my RSUs, which I sell the moment they vest. 40 billion of share buybacks doesn't do sh-t for me. This just feels like a new flavor of pain.

I don’t think anyone thinks that what Elliott proposes will result in a return to the good old days.
However, with what they want to do we would get something in return for our pain.

I'm torn. On one hand, I think our ELT and BT are both hot garbage. On the other hand, I really hate the idea of using all the proceeds of a midstream for stock buybacks rather than improving our assets.

Anyone that thinks Elliott taking over would be a return to the good old days is sorely mistaken. Anticipate even more pressure to maximize margins, more headcutting...

Employees were treated like dirt and paid/ paying these big consulting firms .
McKinsey’s big advocate GO GO . AES and all outsourcing mess is orchestrated by Miss Perkins . WEP by CHRO . Not sure what perks they got in return . Ethics team should start investigating them , oh wait …they are only to preach rest of the organization not applicable to them.

Slide 26 is money…in the consultants’ pockets. If the true figure is anywhere near $300 million, the ELT need to be gone yesterday.

Does anyone ever mention savings from outsourcing? I would have assumed those were part of the massive restructuring costs, but the footnote says otherwise, unless they didn’t want to note the sc--wing over of our own people.

Although not in the same class as the ELT, I was ok financially when I got laid off.
It still stings to be unappreciated when you know you’ve done a good job for a long time.
I would think they’d feel the same way.

Do you realize that the ELT are in the top 0.5% or 0.1%. They can literally stop working at any moment and dont really need to be worry about anything.

Wow Enough Said>
GOGO and ELT Don't let the door hit you in the A-S on the way out. I hope they lead you out like the rest of my Coworkers. Hit the Road Jack!!!!!
