I used to check these frequently somewhat afraid of what may happen. Ever since deciding to leave I am now employed with a better company. I get Presidents’ Day and Juneteenth off along with more PTO. I have a better team that’s not negative nor lazy as he-l! And wait for it…..I am getting paid 3$ more than what optum had to offer me! and we got a pay increase this summer. I am away from a toxic supervisor who runs on mean girl energy and favoritism’s. And I’m closer to my home. Lesson of this boastful post,

After having a boss that was totally unprofessional and abusive a care team that was ALWAYS ON THEIR PHONE (most) also, unprofessional in front of patients (optum is a joke) I am now with a great company working along side social workers RNs LVNs that help take up the job load Optum gave to its medical assistants! I see 7 patients a day compared to 22 I don’t do administrative work, no how 9 mini cog tests POLST paperwork and I get all the holidays off with more pay! I’m glad I left as well!! I’ve always said I feel bad for the ones that stood behind 🤣🤣🤣
I’m astounded by all the HR trolls on this site, it’s probably owned by Optum. I am here to say Amen, there is life after Optum! They may be hot sh--e in Minnie but they are just one of many large conglomerates in TX, Optum can GTH!
