Anybody else in the same boat after being laid off? I feel like such a loser.

I am a FTE of nearly 5 years and I cannot afford to save any money. I live paycheck to paycheck. The 2% raises have finally caught up and this year I will be forced to find a new job. My kids don’t even know about Santa Claus because I cannot afford to buy them gifts. I wish HP had a food pantry for employeees.
dude I can barely pay rent every month and I still work here. life is tough with no money.
its okay, dont feel like a loser. i probably should move back in with my parents and im still employed.
the economy is brutal right now
it will probably get worse
the numbers are completely fudged
"I feel like such a loser."
At least 30% of kids under 30 live with their parents. You are not alone. This economy is a mirage, and is only good for the C-Suite and a few lucky ones who work for companies like NVIDIA. Look at HP stock which is lower than it was 2-3 years ago.
I wish I could move back to my parents. Save a boat ton of money doing that...
Nothing wrong with that. Any parent would love to have their kids home even if you are not laid off.
