Check in Outlook on your location / office. Surprise!
They haven't. They say it will be automated, but don't tell us what that is based on. Nor have they published the policy. It would be helpful!
no change for me (Ireland). Have they even explained how they are measuring this "about an hour from office" rubbish?
No change yet for me either in Workday. I anticipate it coming since my management thinks I live within commuting distance.
All changes in Workday since yesterday and today, check your actual WD profile ( not teams etc ) and the status has changed automatically
This is going to be US thing. In other countries they can't arbitrarily change your status without consultation. Like the 5 day hybrid nonsense this wasn't mandated and HR were quiet when pushed about it. The hope is that enough people will just go along with it and go back. I know for example in Ireland and UK they pushed for the 5 day return they quietly rolled back without saying it. Look at the FAQs and you'll see lots of exemptions and clauses that don't apply to US folks.
No change for me (yet), and I'm expecting it to change to on-site (remote, 50 miles from nearest office). They said everyone would be updated by 'Q2' so I have to think this is a slow roll-out...
