As I know not everyone will get Volunteer package but you may ask for it. But for Company they say that they can deny giving you the package.

Volunteer Exit program for Germany:
For colleagues less than 5 years in Cargill the will get 0.8 x years in Cargill x monthly salary.
Colleagues more than 5 years will get 1.2 x years in Cargill x monthly salary.
If you decide in two weeks after getting the offer you get additioblnal two monthly salaries on top.
Maybe the pay additional money of you don't get jobless money from "Arbeitsamt" because you have not been fired.

Why did Cargill introduce volunteer exit program only in Germany? Why not in other countries? It is unfair and discriminatory treatment by Cargill as volunteer package is much more better than any ‘ordinary’ package. I am sure we would have a number of volunteers in each country!

Germany startet volunteer exit program on 12.2. In Krefeld. HR invites the people one by one to offer the exit. The invitations are always coming hours before.

Pointless stupid organization. They are supposedly running a consultation in EU but the reality is that its only due to the fact that’s a requirement and they are forcing thru the layoffs people treated badly

What makes you think the high-performers will be spared in the lay-off? They have been the first to go everywhere else.

Volunteer exist program is different to the layoffs announced in December. I know that there is a list of ~130 employees which will be laid off. The issue I see with a volunteer exist program is that the high performance people will take money and leave and Cargill will
Keep the many low performers they have. That would long term be very bad for the company.
