This is my first experience being RIF'd, is there anyone out there that can say how long it took to receive your sev payment after you signed and returned? I know it says can take 2-3 pay cycles, hoping for some real life examples if possible. Thanks

Was about 6 weeks from last date of employment before I got mine.
How do you know you are being RIF'ed? Is there an ongoing large scale RIF?
I was in the April 2024 RIF and I did not receive my severance until late June. I would check your particular state’s Department of Labor for regulations because for some states you aren’t able to collect unemployment benefits with severance.
It didn't take long. If I remember I got my final paycheck then my severance a week or two later.
