Any leaders want to share what they are able to give this year?

For the person asking - the way you determine RRP amount is your base pay multiplied by your level's target multiplied by the funding rate multiplied by the percentage of your funded amount your manager feels you deserve. Your manager will probably share it with you in the format of "this is your percentage of RRP" and this number is usually either 0 or any other number 60%-200%. For a 27, target is 5%, 28 it's 10%, 29 it's 15%. So if say a 28 makes 100000/year and funding for that year is 75%, then the funded amount for that employee is 100000 (pay) X .10 (target) X .75 (funding) = 7500. If you're a 3 and the manager decides you deserve 60%, you will get 4500. If you're a 5 and your manager has enough dollars to give you 200%, you will get 15,000. The manager has to give some people only a portion or none of their funded amount in order to give higher ranks more than theirs.

Rewarding Results Plan (RRP)
How Funding for RRP Incentives is Determined -
RRP incentive pools are funded based on
your business segment or corporate function
performance against financial and non-financial
goals. The specific pool amounts are determined
using employees’ funding rates as of Sept. 30
of the plan year and employee salaries at the
time when budgets are generated. Overall
UnitedHealth Group performance will also
influence incentive pools

I was forced to rank one of my people a 2, one earned a 2 and the rest got 3's. Raise amounts I was allowed were embarrassing; I'd have felt better if I could give them nothing--I could blame that on business conditions, rather than the $600/year I was able to give them--what's that--about .$30/hr? Terrible. Can't even buy a soft drink with that.

Ok but how do I know what my target is and what the current funding is? I feel like my supervisor is giving me no information. I am a grade 27. How do I find all this information like you guys do for my department or business line?

RRP stands for Rewarding Results Plan, or something like that. it’s basically what other companies call annual bonus. Depending on your corporate grade, there is a target bonus, let’s say 20% of your base compensation. That target will be adjusted based on your individual performance, and based on the performance of the company as a whole.

3s 1 % to 1.3 % 4 - 1.75% to 2%. No 5s. RRP funded at 75% 3s getting 60% or so
4 getting 105%. Giving more RRP than merit when compared ratings 3 and 4. They are keeping merits low this year. It's su-ks no doubt.
