Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Good luck on the 11th

Good luck SM and CB spinning a plausible story on 11 Feb. What version of the truth will you tell this time? Surely a CEO is responsible for strategy and execution but you couldn’t come up with your own plan when you got the job so you hired a consultancy firm to give you one. They gave you DEI and 30+ work streams which you swallowed hook line and sinker to the detriment of your product, people and any innovation you may have achieved. No one is whispering in your ear any more and you are even more lost. Will any analyst on the call do their job this time and ask you to explain declining revenue, no new customers and executives circling the wagons while selling stock as fast as they can…. Probably not…

Share price now down 13%!. ELT scrambling to cash out their RSU's before they become worthless.

Revenue down 5%, forecasting another decline of revenue for the year ahead, CFO shown the door.

In a booming AI market, Teradud just keeps failing badly.

As another poster said -10% in share price incoming!

Layoffs won’t matter much. Anybody with any brains or skills is long gone. Only a$$ki$$ers left.

I would think right this minute is a good time to sell.

It's going to be a bloodbath after the bell. Just look at previous results to see declining revenue, no new customers and a shrug of the shoulders from SM. The street will knock off 10% on the SP.

ELT will only know one approach and that is to reduce headcount to keep their RSU's afloat. They are that simple in their approach it's rather sad to see more experienced, intellectuals suffer as a result of their incompetence.
