How many of us, like me, check Ur email on Sunday to see if there is a 1:1 set up for Monday morning. Thanks Michael Dell

They’ll be bringing big white folders and HR when they come, (uh-oh!)

With that awkward little greeting,
And the “please sit down” repeating,
They’ll be bringing big white folders and HR when they come. (Yee-haw)
I'd rather get it first thing Monday instead of them ruining my weekend before hand.
At least you all get a calendar invite days prior to your 1:1. My manager slapped an invite at 8AM on the very morning of my layoff notice literally right before I was headed to the office. Then he pinged me, “Are you busy?”
That made Monday feel extra special.
i think it should be on friday and then we can enjoy weekend

So very sorry!
got one for Friday
I learned a long time ago that if I want to be happy at this job my laptop must be turned off at EOB Friday and not be touched until my shift starts Monday.
I heard the 1 on 1's are to let those know that they are not impacted
I usually check and then have a huge feeling of disappointment when I dont have it.
My coworker threw me under the bus in the review feedback. I told my boss I needed to talk about it but she never gave me the chance. She canceled every one on one. I got the 8:30 one on one on a Monday morning. I saw HR was on the phone. I thought this was to discuss what my co worker done. No this was my pink slip. Never had a chance to defend myself. My coworkers feedback was all lies.
He-l no! What's done is done. Don't let it ruin your weekend. Everything can wait until Monday.
Every 1:1 brings anxiety now
