According to Comcast's latest financial results, there was no growth whatsoever in Peacock subscribers in Q4 2024. For a company banking on Peacock as the future of NBCUniversal, that sounds like a pretty dismal result. And that is after NBC/Peacock did such an fantastic job with the 2024 Paris Olympics in the summer. Sadly, Peacock just doesn't seem to be able to hold onto subscribers in the ever competitive streaming space.

They really just need to ad some banger new shows. Quality shows and Movies is always what’s gonna make people consider a new streaming service at the end of the day.
Word came down months ago that Peacock has given up on competing with Netflix. That might have hurt morale with the results finding their way in front of Peacock subscribers.
Their strategy is to rely on sports programming. That strategy might not be working out, and it might not be financially viable for a chronically 5th-7th place US streaming service.
