Get ready for extra massive layoff. Tom Caufield is here.

At least 50k layoff without a single dime in severance. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST

Tom is no Pat Gelsinger but he does know how to make the fab run at a profit.

It's been a while since that has happened.

Best thing is if he sells off maybe half of the fabs, to GF and maybe TSMC too.

That would be awesome!

I hope Tom comes and fires at least half of the 700 VPs we have at Intel at the moment! Most of these people are just money pits!

What's wrong with Tom Caufield ?
Was Global Foundries losing money year after year until Tom joined and made the company profitable and guided it through an IPO?
Intel has been in red in the last 2 quarters and definitely needs someone like Tom to make the company profitable again.

Revenue is abysmal but the # of VPs, PEs, Senior PEs are surging in NEX/NXNE. Some simple layout and Floorplan guys, doing grade 7 work, are now PE w no patents or significant contributions! Getting by brown-nosing! Fire Katti/Lingham (AI guy now doing PPT presentations, LOL!)

Hackett man coming in to right size the company. Revenue per employee has to be one of the metrics to evaluate.

GF and Intel… the blind leading the blind. This just demonstrates that no qualified candidates were interested.

Tom is not a renowned, in fact a failed one. He is being hired to just carry out layoff and spinoff foundry. All hail Tom.

What a joke! GF is a much worse and proven failed company. If its CEO (failed at 14nm process technology years ago) is qualified for Intel CEO, then what a joke???? It is a destroy of Intel.
