Half of my team was out sick multiple days this week, because we have a mandate to be in office “or else”. No more understanding that I should work from home or just gake R&R. if I feel ill, nope, your a-s better be in here unless you’re dying. This is crushing our team. The culture of this company has gone to garbage.

Folks, I was there for 9.5 years, senior experienced Acquiring professional with bonafides. I came to First Data through a bundle of lies told by two old legends MB and DH, legends in their own mind Melville hacks who were both laid off 2016-17. They actually deserved the layoff especially DH who was as disingenuous liar trying to advance himself at all times , terrible manager, zero leadership skills, f*caked up in spades, and one of the worst people I have ever worked with. Both of them were liars. I was misled after that things would get better, all of it false. I finally quit in 2022 which was a great decision; You should all work towards the same. Best of luck.

Well now there seems to be a push if you have surgery there is a preference that you work from home… no way! That is why we pay for extended recovery time.
How sad that as professionals and responsible adults we cannot make our OWN determination to what is best for us and those around us?

It's funny how Fiserv laid off alot of us yet these criminals posted Large Financial gains. It's company's like fiserv that need to targeted for elimination. I hope the new CEO and everyone that made a ki-ling from lay offs that you and yr families dies in a fire and you loose everything with no help to you. Better than the half assed severance package is a joke mat your business got to the lower depts of he-l. Been sick so much more since they started all the RTO. I sit by a group that travels a lot and they're ALWAYS SICK. Always hacking their lungs up. I've had at least three resp infection this winter. Even trying to WFH to not get everyone sick means putting in a "request" that gets tracked and you KNOW they'll use it against us. Never mind, you know, just appreciating that people don't actually want to infection the whole office.
They shouldn’t be. They were actually sick but should have been out before they got the whole team sick!! It’s a terrible culture. We have to do better.
Those people will be fired. That's the whole point
