Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

I’m fine with RTO

I feel for those who will find the RTO policy unmanageable—it’s a frustrating policy overall, and it will undoubtedly drive many talented people away. For me, the commute won’t be too bad, so I plan to use this mandate to my advantage—maintaining strict work hours and doing just the bare minimum. I’ve refused to let a sh---y company dominate my life, and I won’t let it happen in the future either.

You said - we will go in put in our 8 hrs and GTFO. The bare minimum is what they will get. Why do more! What’s the purpose when they have us doing all of this tracking, monitoring etc. They don’t deserve more.

@aj+1jkhen57n Fiserv C Level want to fire people for the stock price. They have made it clear that they DO NOT CARE about talent or quality. I hope all of you reading understand this well if you plan to stay.

It’s out of touch, completely unnecessary. These mandates and excessive tracking and monitoring are the tools used by weak and uninspiring “leaders” with no soul.

For me it’s a 3 hour round trip commute and doing this 3 days a week was perfectly fine but the push to 4 and now 5 has me stressing the f*^k out.

I’m really not fine with it. My commute is so long. I think this mandate might be it for me.
