I’m putting in two weeks notice right after I receive the bonus. Anyone else leaving after bonus payout?
Shell will be cutting for years to come.

Why didn’t you opt into severance in the recent layoffs? Still get your full 2024 bonus, 25% of 2025 bonus, plus the severance
Why bloodbath, people can still hang around finding a job in Shell. In NL max 6 months if you have some years of employment. Plenty of time for training or finding another job.
It will be a bloodbath march 2nd.
You better line something up before you quit. The job market is absolutely atrocious right now.
"kinda funny how..."
Well, it might be funny if OP said something contrary to your point, like "I'm hanging on until I get paid my full bonus, then putting in my 2 weeks' notice, because otherwise I definitely wouldn't get my full bonus. Am I right, guys? Who's with me on this? HIGH FIVE!" But OP didn't say that. Maybe OP doesn't have a bank balance to cover her bills until she gets a bonus, wants more cushion, wants to use her medical benefits before starting over with a new employer. Even if that's what OP meant, maybe OP actually works and doesn't have time to read Shell's fine print that's only relevant once (unless you're a fu--ing loser who keeps crawling back to Shell).
And anyway if it's a few extra weeks, who gives a sh-t? That's not the point being made.
Rather than ridiculing OP, you should quietly, gently revel in your godlike superiority and guide your flock. Not mock them like some god-pr--k.
How much was trading bonus? Commercial? Percent %
you could have left February 1st and been guaranteed the bonus for full amount
kinda funny how many people on here flex financial tricks without actually reading the policies
Commercial bonuses in the trading org are cr-p. Our section of company made its targets.
Definitely looking for something better.
Why wait until you receive your bonus? They can't take it away now if you gave notice now.
Not sure the US severance package will be as generous in the future.
I don't think you should quit. Wait until you can get your severance in the future. Don't give up the 3 weeks of pay for every year of service.
