Lots of Powerpointing and paper pushing no doubt but who’s making money. LT doing lots of show and tell while their reporting teams acting like they belong and try to appear they work hard. Hope the market forces make it nosedive faster than it is. The way they treat people is nasty and immoral. This is not a company future generation wants to work for

Apparently not enough meaningful work to lift the worthless stock price from the ashes.
Our team worked long hours, until 2-3 o’clock in the mornings, weekends and even I had couple times to cancel holidays that I booked in advance due to Cargill unforeseen ‘issues’ and ‘problems’…. Now we do not know where we are standing…..uncertainty….Well, it doesn’t matter if you worked hard or not, we are all in the same ‘boat’….
If you guys don’t know what work is going on, you likely should just be let go to. There’s numerous billion jobs going on that many people are working day and night to make happen so you all can remain employed. Maybe stop complaining and make yourself useful.
I disagree. I hate these types of discussions and I had them many times.
I remember I was told many times that as an IT - I don't create a value - I'm a cost generator.
Following your thinking - only Sales people do real work. But then, Pricing must do offers, Master Data create Materials, Customers, Vendors. Vendor verification teams to ensure there are no sanctions. Production must produce, production planning must plan for efficiency. Accounting must do all the titanic work to account everything correctly and pay salaries.
I could go endlessly like this. And then you go to the LT. They won't go to warehouse or production in every business to see what goes good or bad. They need a summary, comments and suggestions for improvement - and the most popular way currently to do it is PowerPoint.
So... What is your question truly about ?
So much nonsense and pointless bits of work in my team, I just keep quiet and nod. At least we are getting paid but yes wouldn’t say real impactful stuff getting done
Lots of people working on new job titles and pay bands apparently... that may come this month.
Some of us heard this week that the new organization structure "should" be in place by the end of the fiscal.
So no, no REAL work that makes money being done very here!!
