Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

DEI is out of control

Had someone concerned on a large call that we should consider our relationships with suppliers/customers based on their DEI initiatives/stance. Crazy to me we should loose money based on someone’s agenda. These people are out of touch with how a business should operate. I was impressed with the leaderships answer ,basically said that it is not considered. DEI has its place but that ain’t it.

Too bad those on this chain bashing DEI didn’t get let go. Toxic white males who think only they can do any job right and yet all the incompetent people I know in Cargill happen to be oh, that’s right, white men.

Same people crying about DEI are the same ones who use ageism as an excuse. Be inclusive.

Yes a white male is not dei. Cargill includes white women as diverse which is fkn ridiculous but its self serving to the white women in HR leadership.

So is DEI every time a non white male is hired for a role? Or given a contract? Please enlighten me.

I think Trump makes it clear what the approach towards DEI will be for next few years.

Perhaps even Cargill will stop forcing us to discuss DEI.
