Literally no perks to working here outside of a paycheck.

5 days in office now. Micromanaged to make sure we're in office at least 8hrs/day for 5 days.

Sapience tracking prod based on Teams calendar.

Afterhours and weekend projects.

I'm sure there's more, but this is all I can think of right now.

I've trained people with families who were told to move where there is an office or find another job. It's not just the RTO policy, but the fact that you're required to be in the office 9 hours and they have software running on the machines that requires you to be at your desk pressing a key eight hours a day. No one is happy and a lot of wasted time it's spent complaining about it. Fiserv is a terrible place to work.

"I feel bad for the FIs..."

I used to feel bad but now they have had enough warning to avoid Fiserv. If they choose to work with a company that cut their workforce to the bone, treats them like garbage and overall gives the client very poor service that is on them.

There should be massive lawsuits brought by clients, articles in the press, withholding of payments for non-compliance with contracts - revenues should be nose-diving. But the only people who have the power to effect change, the customers, can't be bothered to do anything beside complain but then sign another contract.

"People belong in the office. Work from home is not really working. It is good to see Fiserv taking this initiative to return people to a physical workspace. I applaud it."

Yet when there is a client outage, you call someone at home "to do work"

Note this - you won't get credit for work outside of the office so next time you get contacted on off hours, ignore the call and let mr office worker here pick up the work

I feel bad for the FIs using the DNA product. The knowledgeable development staff has all been let go, so those of us left have no guidance or support. I used to be able to make a call to a colleague who could help me immediately. Now, we have no one left who knows the system like they did.

Departments have 1 to 2 people running 24/7 support for years without hiring new resources. Let's continue the push for full RTO further crippling our ability to provide quality support. That makes perfect sense unless this is yet another RIF due to non compliance. March and ISO20022 will be the true test.

I am so sorry for all of you. Leadership there is so far gone it’s unbelievable.

Sure, focus on slashing your staff and making sure people are in offices, instead of making sure your systems work and processes aren’t outdated as can be!

I couldn’t care less where y’all work from, I just want assistance and to be able to use the systems to do my job on my end!

I will hope and pray by some measure new leadership is bestowed on this company!

don't expect that to last much longer. they'll either be told to move or they'll be let go during a round of layoffs.

Read the email:

If you are not assigned an office, you are to continue your current work arrangements.

I have two coworkers on my team not assigned offices and live in areas that have no Fiserv presence. They get to still WFH because of that limitation.

It's not my freaking fault I work from home. They literally closed my office. Take your salty Berkeley heights behind somewhere else
