Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Building Conditions

Has any other sites noticed that the condition of the buildings are deteriorating? In coral, the buildings need to be painted badly, the bathrooms need to be updated, carpet and chairs need to be replaced, plumbing is bad, etc. trash don’t get picked up, the cafeteria is worse than ever, the building temperature is uncomfortable. Yet g-d forbidden work at home.

The only building they care about is Berkley Heights. Gov Murphy gave Fiserv a huge tax break to create over 3000 jobs in New Jersey. They want want to move all the jobs to NJ and any other place that gives them a big company tax break. For those complaining about the beige I would take drab over that nasty evil orange everywhere.

What a waste to spend $10 million just so you can justify RTO. That money could be used to give us decent laptops instead of the refurbished POSs that we have to use.

I’m in the “newest” building in Lincoln and the air flow is so inconsistent and the walls, cubes and carpet are ALL beige and drab. Literally soul su-king as soon as I step on my floor. There’s been rumors for a year now that it will be updated… smdh. I can’t spend 5 days a week here.

Report the issues to the state and local DHEC and OSHA organizations and they will inspect. Issues will require fixing and if mold is found, there is your lawsuit

Hagerstown bathrooms have puddles of p1$$ every day because the plumbing leaks. carpets leaving the bathroom are wet because of it, so gross. last summer the air conditioning failed and we were told to continue working and ignore the heat they were bringing fans to blow the hot air around. just today I saw people hanging old sheets around the glass conference rooms because they don't want clients seeing how nasty the site looks. I guess it looks better we're working in a pillow fort? Summer picnic last year we were gratefully given 1 hotdog, 1 sm bag of chips and 1 sm soda and again HR n@z! was there to count and make sure no one got in line twice. settlement operations started recognizing people quarterly with gold stars, because yes this is kindergarten and we're driven by stickers. next week they are announcing upgrades to Hagerstown that includes a new lobby and upgraded board room because that is were the employees spend their time, great use of money guys, just smart spending, focus on the stuff that matters. Oh and who can forget the planters! we were told the company couldn't afford landscaping anymore so we, the employees, were asked to pay for planters and plants to place around the outside of the building, this is now an annual payment plan for landscaping right outta my paycheck because Fiserv doesn't make enough profit to avoid plants.

Alpharetta is nice but the stall doors locks are broken so you might get interrupted going number 2.

I keep hearing there is no funding available. All they can do is a little paint here and there in conference rooms and lawn maintenance

I work in bldg 2 at Coral. It's ghetto as he-l now and I've been here for 5 years.

The place is falling apart. Breakrooms are outdated and gross. Bathrooms are not updated like they are in bldg 1 and the water pressure su-ks lately for some reason.

The AC is set at a frigid 68 in most parts of floor one of bldg 2. Desks and cubicles are outdated in floor 2 whereas floor 1 has updated those awhile ago (except for the middle section where IT sits).

Seems that there's fewer sanitation people working in bldg 2 versus bldg 1.

I'm eagle-eyed. I notice everything and anything. I have a list of stuff that needs fixing or updating.

The Marietta, GA office is in bad shape too. We had three floors of employees and now all of us are on the same floor. Foserv is trying to lease out the other two floors to new tenants. As a result we are practically sitting on top of each other. Employees constantly walking by my desk and clients overhearing my fellow employees conversations. The Alpharetta is nicer but it also has too many employees in the same building.

Hagerstown is trash. We were told they were going to invest $10 million into the one building we have left but so far they only "updated" a couple meeting rooms to have video conference capability. I give it 2 years and hagerstown will be gone.
