Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Where would you like to see reduction?

Putting aside the general sentiment that Managers and Directors are often criticized—which can be hard to dispute—I'm interested in your opinions on which departments would benefit most from reduction to foster meaningful change.

Additionally, how do you believe these changes would help propel Dell towards a more positive and forward-thinking direction?

Too many levels of management. Too many people on “the business side.” 176 South St has been called the Pretty People building. Lots of well dressed people attending meetings then attending other meetings to summarize those meetings.
