Thread regarding Omnissa layoffs

Omnissa 'layoffs'

The latest trick now is if they don't like you, offer forced redundancy with two offers, a sh-t offer or an OK offer as long as you sign their NDA to tell nobody... Lol.

At this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if the next rounds only get 2 weeks for every year past 8 years of working for the company. Batch after that will probably just get a letter that says “unfortunately severance is t a requirement in the U.S.”

The latest rebranded iteration of the products are a disaster as well. Installations failing dismally and some customers can't even download it. How the he-l do management as bad as this still have a job. They have lost more than their salaries are worth combined. Turned a multi billion dollar company into a complete car crash. They make pat gelsinger look like a massive success story. You need a special masters degree to exert that much incompetence. They don't even have a USP anymore, never mind able to release a good product on schedule.

This severance amount was shocking, I'm now wondering what reduced package KKR has for us during the next round of layoffs in 2025. Yes, we all need to find better jobs ASAP.

Why is anyone surprised by these huge headcount cuts? Our revenue continues to decline, customers are churning to Microsoft, and the product roadmap is pitiful. KKR had no choice. The Omnissa turnaround plan has failed miserably. We're doomed!

It should now be more then ever clear that the management of this place does not care about their employees just as most employees already know/knew they don' care about their customers. What will most certainly happen going forward is: more employees will now exit since they now know hanging in there does not mean they will get a fair or anywhere near decent package.

Omnissa’s disregard for the employees leaving is unbelievable. Despite receiving positive performance reviews last week, the same managers who knew about the layoffs fired them.

Omnissa’s leadership and managers lack ethics; they’re cowards.

VMware and Broadcom were the same. Take the offer with no back track or take the offer. Standard industry BS

The share scheme is a scam. Nothing matures for 5 years so the answer is no. They are slowly moving most things to India. Plenty being hired in Bangalore. Its only a matter of time. Customer contracts are not being reniewd either in a lot of cases. The future is very grim unless your Indian or a sociopath. I know another guy who was let go while he was out on sick leave and nobody told him. Another guy was given a better position but on contract and when he went looking for his pay increase was told by Ben that omnissa did not have the money and his job was gone.

Any word on whether or not those impacted will be paid out for the shares that they received as part of the Omnissa Employee Ownership Program?

Severance is a joke. 2 weeks for every year after 4 years of continuous service. And they fd up the math…

Can't give you specifics for obvious reasons but no NDA is 30pc of signed nda. The signed NDA is about 30pc of what was on offer last year. Its bad.

What do these offers look like roughly? What type of package are people getting?
