2.6?

So some people are hearing whispers about tomorrow. Restructuring? layoffs? Doesn’t that typically happen before earnings calls & AIP announcements? Whoever is reporting this info please come back and expand. It’s anonymous ffs

“this isn’t a layoff, we have just deactivated your account during the consultation period” is a common gaslighting technique to get u to resign during the WARN act notification period when you find a new job

Both answers are correct - I think US have laid off already. Elsewhere they will be split however always the possibility of some going during process. It's a mix - it isn't a blanket layoff...can't be given the complexity of coverage

"CSMs being let go is verified."
Is it? I heard that there would be organisational changes and a new role created, but nothing on layoffs yet.

CSMs being let go is verified.

What I'm reading (like all threads on here) is that nobody has anything concrete and just rumor and conjecture. CSM's were previously known as account managers until someone wanted to put their stamp on things and call them CSM's. The jobs are the same so people are getting a new job title. Unless someone has something that is verifiable, keep your pie hole shut.

wait, they are making the WARN act notification period a “consultation?” lol

last company pulled this bs, there is no coming back from the exit zoom call

As far as I've heard. The consultations are to restructure the CSM team as they will create a new role as back office support. There could be layoffs but it doesn't mean that every one that is on the consultation period will be let go.

Consultation is layoff, it's just to meet regulations, but they don't budge on anything and after 30 days you are gone

Europe impact needs consultation but it doesn’t seem to suggest layoffs. Wonder what the major diff is between EU and US coverage wise

How many CSM where let go? Also what location

So far only CSM. Lets see what happens when people get their award letters and realize they were placed in the under performing bracket to meet the 5% quota. Given that company is 199% bonus right now, if you are in that bucket and you got a 0% that will make your entire bonus 0. But As long Alex gets his 50mil its all good.

wtf of company has become - please bring back Dan

new company strategy is:

  • Reduce costs by limiting severance payouts (Performance-Based Layoffs)
  • Avoid negative press by splitting the layoffs into different categories.

It is not going to happen. They do not want to pay for packages anymore. They are creating toxic and coercive environment for people to leave. It is happening in all departments, I don't see redundancies coming. It's easier making our lives he-l. I am already looking for a new job.

I wish they'd give us the option of voluntary again! Although I'd be very surprised if my dept is affected with any potential layoffs.

Can rest assured I'd be first in line for that sweet sweet redundancy package!!!

Agreed with that- this is happening. The 5% figure is the cut and is based on needs improv.
Ignore the timing piece on prev years.

Interesting they just rolled out new severance plan on February 1st 2025. In past a LayOff was before earnings so this would be a new twist doing after and before rewards letters next week. Makes you wonder but curious why would they put so much work into creating after the fact documentation this week in Workday to justify ratings for 2024 and training preparing leaders to have difficult discussions with employees who received Needs Improvement if the plan is to fire them before next week. Does not make sense if they are being laid off. In Either case, HR had to code the layoffs in rewards tool to prevent payroll from giving them salary increases, AIP and RSU so if these are coming, most likely the more senior leaders know.
