2025 Layoffs?

I heard several folks in/adjacent to fresh foods were let go last week. Is something bigger happening?

It's likely happening again but to contractors. Feels like the pandemic all over again

They let go of some category people and any open positions available have been cut. They also sent an email stating they only can give out 17% of the bonus money that was allocated.

Most likely. All the typical signs are present: no travel, minimal internal movement, no backfilling, and being vague about appraisals and bonus payouts. 7EE was a joke. Apparently this is the first year they’ve tried to actually make money from the event instead of spending every penny. The food was horrible, the travel was awful, the swag they gave attendees was junk. Yet, for some reason, executives keep getting hired with relocation packages, huge sign on bonuses, car stipends, massive salaries. While the rest of us are fighting to get backfills for the last 2 years.
