Charles Exley was the last good CEO. He took AT&T to the woodshed and made them pay through the nose to buy NCR.
The bad flip side is this was the start of NCR’s decline.

Wonder if DW was “p**sed” about this or happy that he can now “WFH” and no longer feel compelled to dutifully drive his truck to GHQ daily while employees in other countries are compensated for their commute?

Just add his name to the stack of failed CEO's over the last 30 years.
In reality this means Q4 was a real stack of cow patties. Board had to make a change before the news got out. This way they can blame him rather than take responsibility for their junk actions. The board is just as complaisant, and they all should be canned.
It's so funny that the VYX stock jumps ~5% after removal of its CEO.
Voyix stock has dropped 25% during David's reign and he gets rewarded $4m for it. Makes sense

David's severance package is below but the tl;dr is that he's getting $4.5 million in severance plus tens of thousands of VYX shares -- which are getting less valuable by the day. Better hurry up and sell, David! And congrats on abandoning the ship before it went down.

This has been inevitable since October 2023. Jim Kelly wanted this position before NCR Voyix but Mike Hayford wouldn’t give it to him.
This is also why the company had any posts mentioning Jim Kelly removed from this site.
Next move is to finally sell the company.
I’ve found that getting laid off from NCR Voyix is the best thing that can happen to a person.
