Filibuster them, set up meetings at 2am india time. If they are brave enough to attend, be there 15 min then ask them to join another one at the same time the next day. Trust me, you will never hear from tgem again lol

Almost forget.
IBM does.
What do you think IBM has in common with the Q CEO.
Notice a pattern yet.

"Are all semiconductor companies like this? Seems very unique to Q."
I know Micron does. What do you think the CEOs have in common.

What about Global Foundaries?

Bound to happen… effects of capitalism and greed… when growth stagnates these are the management alternatives to boost the earnings and satisfy investors in the short term… happens with all companies.

"If I was in your shoes, I would start allocating 4 hours a day minimum for interviews preparation, forget about your performance. They will let go all your team once the replacement team can do your job. Also, if you accept to train them, you are basically devaluing yourself in the market. Just remember how much struggle and debt you went through to get were you are now, giving that for free for some people overseas who will take your job is a pure stupidity!"

Bingo. You need to protect yourself and Q is NOT trustworthy. Do the minimal amount of work and sharing that won't get you fired. Expend your time and energy on other projects outside Q. There is no ROI (return on investment) at Q.

I would just ignore the off shore teams. They have been doing a terrible job.

A tariff on work not done in the USA should be taxed as a tariff it's good for the deficit

"If you are a US citizen, get your security clearance and go work for a government contractor"
Oddly enough a lot of those defense companies aren't doing so well. They get money but they use it poorly and inefficiently. It is like pouring money into fixing a bad car. Also you need to get hired first, so they sponsor your security clearance. But getting the clearance takes time and the companies don't want to wait that long.

If you are a US citizen, get your security clearance and go work for a government contractor: you will have a lifetime job and never have to worry about your job being moved to India

Classic case of training your own replacement in India

Does this include training them on redundant tasks that you already do? Then prepare to have your entire dept be shutdown.

It doesn't get more obvious than this. I'm sorry.
