Yup the low walled cubes are terrible. I can't focus with everyone basically talking loudly right at me from all directions. I always find a phone booth to take a call or a quiet spot to hide away or work in the lab so I can get stuff done.
Or, work from home which is at least 50 percent more productive. Everything is more efficient..no walking around spending 10 minutes of a meeting trying to find a conference room.
BK destroyed the office environment back in his era with making it into tiny low walled cubes. It’s like working in a call center. No wonder people hate it. He also blew I told millions doing it.
Yup after video was more revealing. But it was a request for engagement and I think addressing that people would naturally come back to office if the office was a decent place to be.
