Doesn’t Elon have a group of teenagers on the government budget cut task force? I don’t have a problem with age per se, but the credentials on some of these kids is questionable at best.
I guess the sales team on this account is not getting a bonus!

Speaking of overcharging the government...

The larger question is will Elon look at defense spending?
The U.S. government has been criticized for wasteful spending on defense contractors. Reports from watchdog organizations, government audits, and independent analyses highlight several key issues:
- Cost Overruns – Major defense projects, like the F-35 fighter jet program, have exceeded budgets by billions of dollars.
- Overpriced Contracts – Some contractors charge excessively for goods and services, such as $10,000 coffee cups or $640 toilet seats.
- Fraud and Mismanagement – Investigations have uncovered cases of fraud, misused funds, and contractors billing for work that wasn’t completed.
- Lobbying Influence – Large defense firms spend heavily on lobbying, which can lead to unnecessary or redundant contracts.
- Inefficiencies in Procurement – Bureaucratic red tape and a lack of competition in bidding processes can drive up costs.
While national defense is crucial, many argue that stronger oversight and accountability could reduce waste while maintaining security.
MD is a grifter. Hasnt been relevant over 10y and is trying so hard to get traction on anything.
I don't think anyone has a problem with cutting wasteful government spending. I certainly don't. But this is more like "Elon doesn't like this so cut it." What gives one person so much power and authority? This isn't cutting waste, this is cutting things on the ideological basis of someone I've said for 15 years is the person you'd model a Bond villain after, who just spent hundreds of millions of dollars of his own money to get his guy elected, and now he expects a return on his investment. Not to mention they are doing it in an unlawful way that is likely unconstitutional. Also not to mention they are giving access to highly sensitive personal data/systems to unvetted people Elon has tasked with this work. What could go wrong there? I think it is setting a dangerous precendent, but these days it seems nothing matters anymore.
Maybe MD should take his own medicine and implement a DOGE at his own company. Can all the useless leaders and wasteful resources at the top and see how efficient the company could actually be. Of course this would never happen because he's have to give himself the pink slip first.
I fail to understand people being angry about Michael Dell supporting DOGE. If we find massive goobermint waste and spending, isn't it a good thing to expose it and stop it? That's what private businesses try to do. It's what we as individuals do. Nobody can survive and thrive and throwing money into a bottomless pit.
That’s because MD is a piece of sh!t.
