Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Literally just unionize. It's fascinating to watch people do everything they can to get better working conditions except for the one thing that is actually proven to work. If you still think union dues outweigh guaranteed wage increases, better negotiated insurance plans, and specifically outlined job duties, well...I don't know what to tell you, I'll just keep watching you complain here, because they will never voluntarily make improvements for you. The first sign that something is good for only the employee is if the employer vehemently opposes it. Imagine them putting in so much effort into your mental health. Your physical health. Your work life balance. Their hate of unions has nothing to do with looking out for you. Did you know they have people on standby 24/7 to hop on a plane and squash union rumblings? You really think that's for your benefit? They pay you $25 in monopoly as a holiday bonus, be so for real.
