The lies and coverups continue from Microsoft as the dust settles from yet another brutal round of layoffs. When interviewed and asked about the layoffs, not only did they lie and call them all performance based, they also said that many would be replaced. Internally they have just instituted a hiring freeze, which means they have no intention to replace any. Why is it so hard to just be truthful?

Will be replaced by restructuring, internal mobility and giving everyone more responsibility without pay increase.
