Shareholders value will rise because of those who can do the job better, faster and most importantly CHEAPER, even if that means offshoring. It’s all about the money. Rich get richer, poor get poorer and the middle class pay for it all. Same as it ever was…

It’s simple economics, we generally in India are far better educated than our American counterparts. Our added value is furthered due to the fact we cost the company 20% of American packages which in India is much more than I need to maintain an upper middle class standard of living.

We had a plant manager tell us "if we can prove that people can work from home sucessfully, then why would we pay people here when we can pay people in low cost centers (i.e. outsourcing) to do the same work at a fraction of the price"
