Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Tell Dell Plus WFH

  • Let me see if I'm getting this right, guessing because of Tell Dell responses, now mangers are mandated to ask about moral in 1:1. That's odd.
  • No more WFH, some folks are speculating it's forced attrition.
  • In Tell Dell, a number of companies zeroed in on "would you recommend a family member work here?," A record number more than ever before said "No." Imagine that?
  • In this forum I see more WFR's, I'm wondering how that's possible given the last go-around.
  • For whatever the reason something popped up in my thoughts from history; this is like Robespierre executing the executioner.

Wow! JS was overheard saying below 80K, 70K is much lower. But considering they make you do one role that doesn’t grow your skillset, maybe they could go lower. Yikes!

Tell Dell is such a waste of time. It seemed like last year's poor results were tossed as an "aberration" as I saw nothing change in the last year due to that feedback.

The goal is to get headcount below 60k. It doesn't matter if a person is in a low cost region or not.

Does anyone know how to spell? "Morale", not "moral" and "manager", not "manger".

How are WFR's possible after the last go-around??
Because the goal is to get the employee count below 80K (70K if possible) and JC has been told by MSD to get the stock price above $200.
"The lashings will continue until moral improves"
