TK will gut the US treasury as well

Similar DOGE teams have begun demanding access to data and systems at other federal agencies, but none of those agencies control the flow of money in the way the Treasury Department does.

Mr. Bessent granted access to the payments system to a handful of staff members affiliated with DOGE, including Tom Krause, the chief executive of a Silicon Valley company, Cloud Software Group, according to one of the people familiar with the

For the people who keep repeating, "It's just read-only!", "It's just read-only!", "It's just read-only!"....that's just optics. Does a letter just stating its read-only, while in reality giving write access, have any power? If you sue on the basis that nah you told me it was readonly now i'ce figured out that write was also given, what would a geriatric judge get? if there is no legal basis to the declaration and no power in the letter how would it hold up in court.
As an example, didn't we all tick the check boxes for co-pilot and Openai to NOT steal our code and yet, haven't they already vacuumed everything up into their machines? Because there is a contradiction in the ToS and the cute l'il check box you ticked a few months back which is exactly what they will state in court if you chose to sue them

Read only means they can look at the numbers but not write to them.

NEW: Treasury Dept agrees not to let anyone who isn't a current, regular (non-SGE) employee access its payment system/records, with the exception of Tom Krause and Marko Elez, who will have read-only access.

The agreement will last until the judge decides whether to grant a preliminary injunction.

  • Is TK a coder?

What you have to remember is TK is reading these post and anything about his work. He tinkers too much in operations not be, micro-managing and micro-snooping. And he is not turned off, far from it. Every zing at him makes his heart beat faster and his br---t swell. A proud man, that one.

I am not trying to discourage anyone from posting here or anywhere, far from it. Encourage the discourse. But know by staying you are supporting this behavior even if your heart lies elsewhere.

The criteria for DOGE is how many you have fired, how much you enjoy firing people, and how little you care about the impact on peoples well being. No wonder TK was tapped for this. He's their dream employee!

Well I guess TK is setting the bar for us to find other work while working for CSG.

I guess this now sheds light into the day after the inauguration email where TK shared his admiration of Elon. Maybe that was part of the recruiting process.

This is all very scary because we know how TK gutted our company. Hope he doesn't sc--w a few million American citizens in the meantime.

A am American citizen, being honest, the bloated, dysfuctional, money wasting US government needs a TK style restructure. And maybe this might mean he's going to get distracted from using his wrecking ball as much on Citrix. One can only hope.

Is TK still CEO at CSG?
https://www.politico.com/news/2025/02/01/musk-claims-doge-lax-treasury-00201946

"Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has signed off on a plan to give access to the payment system to a team led by Tom Krause, the CEO of Cloud Software Group, who is now working for the Treasury Department and serves as a liaison to Musk’s DOGE group that operates out of the United States Digital Service. One person familiar with the effort said Krause’s role will be subject to safeguards that would not allow any ability to make changes to the system and that no one outside Treasury would have access."
