What are you even talking about? Since 2020, ~70% of the “external” leadership hires have been straight out of Helios.

It’s either delusion or bias. Neither are fact.

Wall Street analyst Paul Sankey has suggested firing the entire BP board. The guy must read this site for his ideas!! What about firing the entire LT as well, particularly the person in charge of strategy?

Shell is having same struggles as bp so it’s unlikely a merger of two struggling majors will be attractive to investors.

I think MA already missed the window. He has to be on his way out, and the board is either looking for a new CEO or the board is trying to broker a merger. If neither of those happen then investors will step in and take action.

Murray has a small window to drop the wokeness and return bp to its roots, exploring for oil and gas. If this doesn’t happen then a takeover and asset strip by Shell or another seems likely.
