Hal is layoff ppl with the highest pay and replacing them with low pay workforce, also they had mayor issues with their costumers (DB) losing him as customer due to safety standards and prices.
A lot of management are blaming on the workforce putting too many hours besides micromanagement the employees change the will of any employee to keep working for this company.

There is no doubt, your relationship with your customer is helping win (or most likely maintain) work. You have it in your head that a $30,000 membership is the only way Hal doesn’t fail. Like I said, it’s in your head. You’re not that important. Got do your job and stop taking your buddies to the course.
HAL being desperate enough to give in on their inflated pricing is what won you work, just saying...

Also how is Hal laying off during an up market? Oh that’s right, because we don’t know how to win work, we have way too much overhead, and we do bull stuff like Hal Academy. Gotta keep those golf memberships for those acct leads and vps. Btw, If you think your golf membership is why we have work you’re lying to yourself.

Hal just laid off/ fired about 70-80 people from that were based out of the Odessa location
It’s hard to see now, because it wasn’t on your terms, but leaving Hal will be the best thing that ever happened to you. People who like their job at Hal generally have a cush gif that has tons of perks, or has everyone else doing their work. Trust me, when I left (on my terms) I was in such a better place mentally, and financially.
