Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Billionaires are not your friends!

Americans thinking that the billionaires have their best interest in mind is the downfall of any worker protections in our country. I cant believe that middle class american believed that Elon Musk and Donald Trump (2 most shrewd billionaires) are theri friend and have their best interest in mind.

Keeping us poor and making our lifes miserable is their goal and they have succeeded.

What about managers are directors at Dell who make a pretty penny and care about their stock options more than they would care to walk across the street for you if your job depended on it?

A world without billionaires is a world without jobs.

MD started the company in his dorm room and has grown it to what it is today. It has paid my bills and has helped put my kids through college. I wish him the most pleasant dreams on his bed made of money.

To those who support billionaires at the expense of workers, the great American patriot Sam Adams had choice words for you:

“ If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Without consumers to buy those products, and big government bailouts to rescue the billionaires when their speculation backfires, those billionaires would all be paupers.

It’s customers who make the jobs happen, not billionaires. Billionaires just use their tie-up with government to prevent competition and skim off the results of the labor of their employees — who they need to succeed.

I’m not a huge fan of the billionaires but they do own companies that provide jobs. You are welcome to open a lemonade stand if you like.

Stop drinking the kool aid! ooh wait you are right - we do have the strongest labor protection law in the world. How did i forgot that?

Stop with the farce of free market capitalism when the law makers are bought and paid for.
