Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Your network access will be tracked

So those thinking of just punching in and out.
They know who spends time in the office and who doesn't.
It's not just badge swiping they track.

cyber has more important things to do.

at any given time there are intruders crawling around dell dmz's and the internal network.

the internal network design is like the titanic, one big flat network with little internal security...once in they are hard to find.

seriously so much hacking is hidden from everyone...it's just a matter of time.

"My VP said they expect 1 hour minimum on the network "

Then that is all they get from me and not a minute more

Currently they track it through time spent on office network Vs spent on VPN. But it’s time consuming data to gather. They will 100% install stations to “badge out” as well under the guise of “campus safety”. Why innovate technology when you can monitor your employees and treat them like 3rd graders? Btw Pajama Day will be next Tuesday after WFR and that Friday there will be a sponsored flip cup championship where one of you can win a 20 dollar Starbucks card. See you there!!!
